The integrated stack behind every Orenda community

Equity Systems is the automation and controls subsidiary of Orenda Eqwal Equity. Its job is to design, build, and maintain the integrated technology stack that makes every Orenda community function as one connected, intelligent system rather than a collection of parts.

The technology Equity Systems builds does not belong to a vendor. It is proprietary IP, designed in-house and owned by Orenda, which means it replicates across every community OEE builds and gets better with every deployment.

Agriculture

The technology serves the farmer, not the other way around.

Every Orenda community combines outdoor soil-based production with a controlled growing facility. Automated systems manage the conditions: soil moisture, irrigation scheduling, greenhouse climate, lighting cycles. Residents manage the decisions: what grows, when it's harvested, how the land is used.

Energy

Where municipal electricity is available, Orenda communities connect to it. Solar infrastructure supplements that supply, steps in when conditions call for it, and in many cases generates enough excess capacity to sell back into the municipal grid. An automated Energy Management System monitors generation, storage, and consumption across every structure in real time.

Water

Water infrastructure integrates with municipal supply where it exists, managing the full distribution network, quality monitoring, pressure management, and greywater recovery as one automated system. The platform monitors conditions continuously and routes greywater into the agricultural system rather than treating it as waste.

Security

The security layer covers the community perimeter through a monitored camera network, manages access control at entry points, and tracks environmental conditions including fire risk and air quality. All alerts route through the central operations dashboard. Residents are not monitored inside their homes.

Resident Experience Platform

The community in your hands.

Accessible from a mobile app, an in-home display panel, or a shared community kiosk, the resident platform puts home automation controls, energy and water consumption data, and direct communication with community management in every resident's hands. Designed to be fully intuitive for anyone, in any language, regardless of prior experience with technology. As communities grow, the platform expands to include healthcare scheduling, school management, and connectivity with other Orenda communities around the world.

Equity Systems is staffed by engineers with decades of experience in industrial automation at the highest levels of the field, backgrounds that typically serve large-scale logistics and manufacturing environments, applied here to a problem they have never been applied to before.

Knowledge That Stays

Every build includes a structured training program that transfers technical knowledge to resident community members, who are then employed to operate and maintain the systems after the Equity Systems team moves on. The expertise doesn't leave with the contractors. It stays in the community.

The first Equity Systems deployment is in Utah. Every design decision made there, every integration built, every training program developed, becomes the replicable template for the next community. The stack gets smarter with every deployment. The IP that runs all of it remains owned by Orenda, growing in value as the network grows.
